The Papers of Dr. Lucille Derrick, alumni and former faculty member, comprise .22 cubic feet. Although the collection is small, the warmth and vitality of the contributor is evident. These papers consist of Board of Regents minutes, class notebooks, correspondence, and memorabilia. Within each folder dated material is arranged chronologically.

Scope and Contents This photograph album was created by Frankie McWhirter, wife of James A. McWhirter. Both attended Eastern between 1943 and 1946 and the album contains photos of campus, students, and local places that they visited including Natural Bridge, Cumberland Falls and Boonesborough Beach. Jim played football at Eastern and there are many photographs of teammates from the mid 1940s as well as photos of ROTC and WACs on campus. Townsend Room Scrapbook Collection

Scope and Contents This collection of scrapbooks appears to have been created by Mary Floyd, dean of the Crabbe Library. There are a number of letters addressed to John Wilson Townsend and to Mary Floyd. It isn't clear if the Townsend letters came from the Townsend Papers or another source. The Kentucky Pictures scrapbook was created by Floyd's American History students in 1926.
