Scope and Contents The William H. Miller collection is made up of genealogy-based material. It contains Miller's manuscript of his book History and Genealogies of the Families of Miller, Woods, Harris, Wallace, Maupin, Oldham, Kavanaugh, and Brown Families, as well as the unpublished manuscript for a second book. The manuscript includes family lineage for families all over Madison County, but also expands to include family migration between Virginia and Kentucky and westward....
