Scope and Contents The Robert Foster Collins papers consist of three series of records--subject, slide, and maps and charts--roughly covering the years 1953 to the present. Most of the materials relate to Mr. Collins' occupation as a United States Forest Service administrator, especially his position as supervisor of the Cumberland National Forest (renamed Daniel Boone National Forest in the 1960s) during the 1950s and 1960s.
