Formative Materials and Bylaws, 1986-1998

The items contained in this folder are all related to the formative years of the Kentucky Sports Equity Project, and its eventual incorporation in January, 1987. The original grant applications and Eastern Kentucky University approval forms, the group's articles of incorporation, as well as the KCSE bylaws and articles of amendment are found in this folder. When investigating the internal changes of both the KCSE and the greater sports equity movement the bylaw revisions may prove a fruitful resource. Also, the letter to members that is cited in the scope and content description for the collection may be found at the front of the folder. All other materials are arranged chronologically.
