Lexington, KY, Combs was born in 1793, served in the U.S. Army during the War of 1812; Speaker of the Kentucky State House of Representatives, 1846-47. TL 3 Separate notes on one document: 1.) Informing that he is opening an office in Vicksburg, Mississippi, but will still conduct regular business in Kentucky. 2.) P.S. of note-Mentions delay of court action in Kentucky on a case. 3.) Discussion of Judge Marshall's debts.
