The Subject Series, covering the years 1951 through 82,consists of three boxes of materials. A historical background of the Kentucky Industrial Education Association (KIEA) can be found in box 12 along with the handbook of Administrative rules and Regulations and the KIEA's Incorporation Papers. Also located in box 12 are folders containing lists of the executive Board (Committee) Members and Working Committee chairmen. The responsibilities of the different chairmen are is in these folders Box 13 contains a folder with the past residents Roster The Treasurers reports for the years 1957 through 1982 are included in box 13 These folders contain reports given at the Executive Committee meetings. Quarterly and annual reports can be viewed along with proposed budgets Information on the commercial and educational exhibits presented at KIEA conferences is located in box 11. The commercial exhibits folder contains letters from companies reserving booths at the conferences. The educational exhibits folders contain information on reserving booths, rules and regulations for exhibits, and lists of prizes to be awarded. A list of award recipients is found in the educational exhibits awards folder. Another contest open to students was the KIEA contest. Submitted designs can be found in the emblem contest folder in box 11. Interesting information on other industrial associations and vocational schools can be found in boxes 11 and 12. Box 11 contains folders entitled Affiliations. In these folders are letters from other associations and vocational schools requesting affiliation with KIEA. Listed under Industrial Education Association in box 12 are bulletins from other associations across the country Other folders on activities of the Kentucky Industrial Education Association are also contained in the series. The folders in the series are arranged alphabetically by folder title and chronologically within the folders.
