The Personal Series, covering the years 1934 to 1976, is composed of sixteen boxes of material (boxes 171-186) relating to financial matters, appointments, trips and other private activities of Dr. Martin. Boxes 171-176 contain bound volumes of Martin's appointment book and calendars arranged chronologically. The remaining material is arranged alphabetically by topic and then chronologically within each folder.
