The Academic Affairs Sub-Series is composed of seventy-three boxes of material (boxes 261-333) relating to academic and instructional activities of the university. The sub-series begins with the correspondence of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and continues through such diverse subjects as academic services, applications for and appointments to faculty positions, institutes, the library and the Office of Research Development. The bulk of the papers, however, focus on correspondence relating to the academic divisions of the University. Correspondence with the deans of the colleges appears first; the remainder is arranged in alphabetical order.
