Cox Family Papers, 1919-1946
Scope and Contents
Includes commencement programs from the Kentucky College for Women and George Peabody College for Teachers, news clippings and correspondence between various family members. The correspondence documents the work history of the Cox family and gives a glimpse into their personal lives. One letter talks about a large fire in Berea, KY, another talks about the flood of 1937, another talks about Elizabeth's experiences in a public school in Hattiesburg, MS. Later letters mention World War II.
