Clements, Earle C., 1950-1983

The General Series consists of eleven boxes of material covering the years 1949-1985. Most of the records, however, are concerned with the presidencies of Drs. Martin and Powell and relate to both personal matters and official University business. Included is business with Kentucky state government, correspondence with Board of Regents members, several Kentucky governors, and prominent Kentucky personalities such as Jesse Stuart. All of this material, especially University-related correspondence, should be used in conjunction with the Subject Series. All of these records are arranged alphabetically by either correspondent or topic and then chronologically within each folder.
