Budget - President's Recommendations, 1961-1962

The Executive Assistant Series consists of seven boxes of materials (1 197) compiled from 1960 to 1962 during Dr. Powell's first two years at Eastern. He worked directly under then-President Martin, with important responsibilities particularly in the areas of budgets and of buildings and grounds. The latter included new buildings and their financing as well as space assignments in both classroom buildings and in dormitories. Correspondence on these and other matters is included along with budgets, requests for equipment, numerous internal memos, speeches, and other documents relating to planning and running the university.
