Scope and Contents
The Correspondence Subseries is arranged chronologically and reflects the voting activities of the five Regional Representatives of AIAW Region II on the AIAW Executive Board. Most of the correspondence addresses administrative details at both the national and regional levels. In 1972 folder, important correspondence concerning the formation of the AIAW (July 1, 1972) can be found. Correspondence concerning sponsorships of championships for women by the NJCAA, NCAA, and NAIA can be found in 1974 and 1975. Various surveys, and position and statement papers of a regional and national nature can be found throughout the correspondence.
