Scope and Contents

Contains copies of a hand written transcription of the lineages detailed in the "Daniel Duggins Bible", as well as a copy of a document entitled "Dugan and Duggin Marriages Recorded in Mercer County, KY", a copy of a pension application for Henry Stinnett (husband of Malinda Jane Duggins) dated 15 January 1898, a copy of a marriage certificate between Charles Stennett and Tabitha Duggins dated 22 September 1864, a copy of Tabitha Duggins' application for a widows' Pension with information on Charles Sennett's military service, A copy of a deed of conveyance from Elzina Duggins to E.J. Payne dated 3 August 1881, a copy of The Harrodsburg Herald dated 21 January 1966 with a headline and photograph labeled "At Dugansville Store", a copy of a deed of conveyance involving Wilson Duggins dated 26 July 1836, copies of correspondence between the Harrodsburg Historical Society and Glen E. Dugan dated 12 February 1968, a copy of a map entitled "List of Baptist churches that Have Cemeteries: 19/20 August, 1924" showing parts of Jessamine, Mercer, Boyle, Garrard, and Lincoln Counties, copies of a chapter from an academic text entitled "Stinnett" by Michael O. Brown of the U.S. Navy, a copy of a document entitled "Deaths Reported in Garrard County: 5 April 1895 to 31 December 1914", a copy of court minutes involving Daniel Duggins and Mary Ann Duggins dated 21 November 1855, two copies of the will of Daniel Duggin dated 5 October 1802 (one original handwritten copy and one transcribed copy),and a copy of a deed of conveyance between John Duggins and Thomas Chappell dated 5 January 1887. Also includes correspondence between Vockery and Martha Childs (with attached family group records and family pedigree), Pastor John Nicholas, and Louis Shoupe.
