Scope and Contents

Correspondence between Vockery and Cindi Bonney Meyer regarding John Snoddy (d. 12 December 1814), and with Margaret Cochran Cline regarding the Cochran Cemetery. Also contains family group records of different lines dating to the late 1700's, copies of a deed of conveyance to the Cochrans in Madison County, KY, dated 7 December 1857, the last will and testament of John Cochran dated 8 December 1870, a copy of a poster advertising the public sale of the late Robert Cochran's estate (including slaves) dated 21 August 1857, copies of a death record "of Robert and Martha Baugh's children" extending back to Samuel Cochran (d. 22 April 1775), copies of a document entitled "William Cochran, Revolutionary Soldier" with a short lineage proceeding from him, an extensive family lineage beginning with John Cochran (b. 1746 - d. 5 July 1823) along with a corresponding pedigree, a copy of a document entitled "Cochran Family of Garrard County", family group records, and an antiquated document entitled "Entries taken from the John and Robert Cochran Bible, Printed 1792 in New York." which names George Washington as a subscriber.
