Boulder Dam
Scope and Contents
Mason & Hanger apparently bid on construction of the Hoover Dam, however they were not one of the Six Companies that conglomerated to build it. This box contains the specifications, schedule, and drawings for the Hoover Dam, Power Plant, and Appurtenant Works. This document is stamped with "Advance Draft of Specifications, Not to be Used For Submitting Bids." Included are a few photos, several graphs, and numerous technical drawings of the dam and its subsidiary structures. Includes Mason & Hanger's financial estimates of the project, written in the margins.
