This folder contains early correspondence to Dorothy. Some of it is general correspondence from John Wilson Townsend (JWT) in his early travels, while later correspondence from colleagues and aquaintences discuss music performances and reflect on JWT's life after his passing in 1968.

This correspondence mostly contains responses from friends and colleagues regarding Dorothy's publication of her book about the life and works of John Wilson Townsend (JWT). Includes correspondence from Robert R. Martin and Jesse Stuart. Some of the correspondence expresses Dorothy's troubles with the publishing world. Other correspondence addresses "Life in the Bluegrass" and a reprint of JWT's "Lore of the Meadowland"
