Robert "Robin" Rodes Biography
A handwritten biography of Robert "Robin" Rodes of Madison County, Kentucky in which he is stated to be a former captain of the American army during the Revolutionary War. Document also describes his career as a judge, his family, and his friendship with well-known political figures like Henry Clay.
Lillard Rodgers Collection
Lillard Rodgers was an Eastern alum receiving his bachelor's degree in 1947 and a master's in 1962. He went on to be a teacher in the Casey County, Kentucky school system. This collection consists mostly of news clippings of Edwin Finch's "Kentuckiana All Over" column that was published by the Courier-Journal in the 1940s and 1950s, including 13 scrapbooks and a folder of loose clippings. In addition there are other mid twentieth century tourism publications and educational materials.
Rosedale Baptist Church Records
The Rosedale Baptist Church Records consist of photocopies of minutes of meetings of the Trustees of the Church and membership records. The minutes are not complete as they end in February 1992. The membership records of the church span from 1961 to 1978. The collection also includes a compiled history of the church from its conception to 1993 compiled by Charles Hay.

This collection consists of documents and correspondence of James T. Shackelford. Much of this relates to the Richmond Gold and Silver Mining Company. The researcher should also refer to the William Rodes Shackelford collection as he is a son of James T. Shackelford. This collection may have come in combined with the John H. McDowell papers as there were several McDowell items that were pulled and put in that collection.

Shearer Family Papers
The Shearer Family Papers consists primarily of receipts for store accounts, tax payments and court fees which belonged to various members of Absalom Shearer's immediate family. There are a few letters or letter fragments and school reports but none are extensive or detailed. Also included are two family photographs and a charcoal sketch of Samuel Shearer.
