Scope and Contents

This collection includes the results of the High School Science and Mathematics Achievement competition and in some cases the program from the awards ceremony. Students competed in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. The top school teams were also rewarded.

Abstract The documents in this collection represent the dedicated grassroots movement that local girls and women's sports advocates developed in response to the sports equity component of the Title IX Statute of the Educational Amendments of 1972.
