This collection includes film and video resources from various events on campus and interviews and documentaries that EKU individuals participated in. Scope and Contents Curtis Field Burnam was a well-respected lawyer, judge, and statesman from Richmond, KY. He was a refined orator, as well, and numerous items in the collection are copies of addresses and orations which he presented to a variety of audiences. Much of the material has to do with the Civil War in Kentucky and in general. This collection consists of the newsletter of the League of Women Voters, Berea and Madison County. The newsletter documents issues that the league was interested in and activities they conducted. The issues examined are local, state, national and global.

Scope and Contents The Lilly Family Papers contain correspondence, photographs, legal material, publications, scrapbooks, memorabilia, and genealogical information. Much of the material in this collection deals with the many organizations with which the Lillys were involved, such as Democratic clubs, Daughters of the American Revolution, or the Gas Consumers' League. Abstract

This collection contains the personal and professional papers belonging to Robert R. Martin. Martin is popularly known as former President of Eastern Kentucky University, but also served as an educator, Superintendent of Education, and a Senator. This collection contains correspondence, legislative papers, photographs, scrapbooks, campaign materials, publications, and materials documenting his success throughout his career.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists mostly of single items that were a part of the Townsend Room Collections that were purchased or donated. Some items still have the purchase information attached, and this was left in the enclosure. The subjects included in the collection include slavery, politics, business affairs, legal issues, family and genealogy. Because of the varied nature of the materials they were divided by type and inventoried individually.
