Kathleen Kenney Wiley Papers
Scope and Contents
This collection of scrapbooks documents the life of Kathleen Kenney Wiley during her time at Eastern. Scrapbooks contain much information about sports through news clippings and programs, but they also indicate other activities Ms. Wiley was involved in such as marching band and religious organizations. The 1950-1951 scrapbook includes an early article about Mozart, the campus mascot through the 1950s and early 1960s as well as news of the Korean War. In the last book a series of letters from an international student document her life after she returned to the Philippines. Also included are some of her music scores from when she played clarinet with the band. Photographs include buildings and scenes from campus including some good shots of Veterans Village.
